My Inadvertent Top 15 Twins Prospect List

I’ve been working with Marc Hulet of FanGraphs to come up with a top-15 list for the Twins for the upcoming series that’ll run this fall, and as a result, I inadvertently compiled my very own top-15 list.

Have a look, and let me know what you think:

1. Miguel Sano IF
2. Oswaldo Arcia OF
3. Kyle Gibson SP
4. Aaron Hicks OF
5. Eddie Rosario OF
6. Joe Benson OF
7. Adrian Salcedo SP
8. Liam Hendriks SP
9. Chris Parmelee 1B
10. Hudson Boyd RP
11. Travis Harrison IF
12. Madison Boer P
13. Alex Wimmers SP
14. Brian Dozier IF
15. Levi Michael IF

So as Seth Stohs says, let me have it. Call me dumb, or whatever you want. Let me know what you think, and let’s see some of your lists!

You have Parmelee ranked fairly low on your list. While his MLB performance certainly is a small sample size, it also can’t be forgotten. I haven’t researched everyone else on this list, but if Parmelee is truly the #9 prospect, the system isn’t as bleak as I thought.

    • I agree. I think since he’s a first baseman, and only had about an .800 OPS in Double-A, it’s hard to rank him higher. I think he’ll hit, and I think he’ll field, but I don’t know if he’s a prototypical 1B. Still, he’s darn good. This is a sneaky good system.
